The art did not only get widespread in Guangdong Province but also overseas. Grandmaster Wong Wu Fong’s wing chun is based on Foshan Wing Chun Kuen, also was knowledgeable in the 13 southern martial arts and added many innovations to his kung fu. Its characteristic is simpler and direct, in that the usage of the waist together with the stance, gives a small power a richer strength effect. Thus his famous statement of “point half a step, and secretly win the fight”.

Currently the school is run by Wong Nim Yi. He invites students to come to Guangzhou China.
